WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT ANGELA WILLIAMS
AND A GIRL AND HER PEARLS

As a "congregational volunteer" I was truly impressed with the programming provided as a full day seminar of "A Girl and Her Pearls". Throughout the planning phase, Angela made herself available. Her expertise was invaluable in assisting our planning committee put together a day that would both capture the interest of as well as challenge young women from an urban setting. I was particularly impressed with her 1/2 day break out session that concentrated on explaining to young women how important it is for them to value their "pearls". Chastity is a subject that gets very little lip service in their normal day. Abstinence is rarely to topic of their "girl talk". It certainly was a topic in our sanctuary that Saturday!

Watching bonds develop between and among young women who had not known each other before that morning was truly a blessing. It was a real surprise to witness how trusting and open these girls were in breakout sessions where they not only learned but also shared many personal experiences freely with the other young ladies.

To most of the adult volunteers this open and sincere sharing of personal experiences certainly punctuated the growing need for the programming that "A Girl and Her Pearls" provided. The girls loved their “goody bags" as well as their breakout sessions on higher education, manners and, later, in our follow-up session, on makeup and fashion.

I highly recommend "A Girl and Her Pearls" to other churches and faith based community organizations. It was well worth the time, work and cost. Programs such as this are the one's that touch young women and frequently spark significant changes in their lives.

“I wanted to say a couple of things. First of all, it is wonderful having you at our center. You are a breath of fresh air and you represent who we all want to be, not just our young ladies but all of us. You set an amazing example of perseverance and beauty for all of us to admire and follow. I would love to get some feedback from you on your experience with working with us. We want great things for all of our youth and the only way, I believe, to go from good to great is getting feedback from the people who are leaders in the programs.”

“I write to say how blessed our ministry was to have Ms. Angela Williams come to speak with our young ladies. Ms. Williams was approachable and knowledgeable about this important matter that so many of our girls are facing today. My young ladies were all able to relate to her and she spoke in a manner that they understood.”

Ms. Williams kept it lively, which is very important today if you want to keep young peoples’ attention for longer than two minutes.

Some of the older ladies sat in the back to support our girls. They were impressed and they all expressed how much they would have appreciated a talk like this when they were younger. Ms. Williams has truly received a gift from God in relating to young ladies. I pray that she will continue to impart her knowledge and experience to the next generation.

First and foremost, I must thank you for such an inspiring and uplifting seminar. I didn't know what to expect when I first arrived but when you greeted us with such a positive spirit, I was certain that it would be exciting as well as an educational experience. I could definitely relate to the topics we discussed for I have indeed been in similar situations. Your seminar reminded me that I'm worth more than any amount of money and that my self-worth is something that no one can take away from me. What I enjoyed most about the seminar was the interaction between you and all the girls; even though some were a bit timid, you managed to get them out of their shell. You made every person in the room feel comfortable and special. You are indeed very AWESOME.

A Girl and her Pearl’s is an informative workshop that offers integrity, purity, hope and inspiration to girls of all ages. It is an impressive and remarkable reminder of what a Proverbs 31 Woman represents. The workshop brings too light the attributes of young women of excellence everywhere and it caters to a generation in desperate need of this message. The workshop also teaches women of all ages how to walk and operate in the spirit of a virtuous woman with attributes such as wisdom, honor, strength, meekness, and reverence for the Lord as well as herself. I’m delighted to serve as a voice for introducing such a powerful resource geared towards instilling values, virtue and dignity into our daughters’ of tomorrow. Angela M. Williams has truly out done herself with the “A Girl and Her Pearls’ workshop and she gives new direction to a generation of youth on a troubled path.
